This file guide is made with carbide plates. It will not be affected by any abrasive except diamond. Ceramic belts will only scratch the surface. Jig is surface ground to ensure flatnes from both sides. It fits blades up to 60mm wide. Carbide is glued with thermo resistant glue up to 300 C
